About Dinosaur Challenge
Dinosaur Challenge is a series of challenge scenarios in which the player must evolve a preset world to birth a specific organism. A challenge may have time limits, avatar level limits, or special conditions. The cube size and temperature vary by challenge.
Tips
- You do not have to scan any new life forms except the target organism. You do not have to scan a new organism that is an ancestor of the target organism in order for it to evolve or mutate.
- It helps to already have beaten the main quests in the game because you keep the items you've acquired and can use them during challenges, including any Global Warming and Global Cooling items, plus the Warmth Stone, Flame Stone, Scorch Stone, Chill Stone, Ice Stone, and Freeze Stone. These come in handy during challenges where these items are not restricted.

Challenge 01 - Birth of Eoraptor
Difficulty: 1 star
Time Limit: C.Y. 10,000,000
Avatar Status: Lv. 8 HP1900
Cube Status: Size Mini Temperature 25°C
Special Conditions: None.
Description: Birth Eoraptor and capture it. Ichthyostega is present, so birth Dimetrodon while maintaining the temperature, then raise the temperature after Dimetrodon is born.
Challenge 02 - Birth of Pteranodon
Difficulty: 2 stars
Time Limit: C.Y. 7,000,000
Avatar Status: Lv. 8 HP1900
Cube Status: Size Mini Temperature 43°C
Special Conditions: No items allowed.
Description: Revive Pteranodon and capture it. Dinosaurs are multiplying, but Pteranodon is extinct. The temperature seems to be cooling, so aim for an environment temperature of 44°C that is suited for the birth of Pteranodon.
Challenge 03 - Birth of Tyrannosaurus
Difficulty: 3 stars
Time Limit: C.Y. 7,000,000
Avatar Status: Lv. 10 HP2600
Cube Status: Size Mini Temperature 47°C
Special Conditions: Height-based temp. changes x3
Description: Birth Tyrannosaurus and capture it. Dinosaurs are multiplying, but Tyrannosaurus has not yet been born. It should appear if the current temperature is maintained, but the temperature changes in the Cube are more extreme than normal.
Challenge 04 - Birth of Plesiosaurus
Difficulty: 4 stars
Time Limit: C.Y. 5,000,000
Avatar Status: Lv. 10 HP2600
Cube Status: Size Small Temperature 46°C
Special Conditions: None.
Description: Birth Plesiosaurus and capture it. Eoraptor, the ancestor of dinosaurs, is multiplying, so it should appear eventually as dinosaurs are birthed. However, the flat land is too small to birth a dinosaur. You might want to expand it by making the cliffs or the sea into flat land.
Challenge 05 - Birth of Triceratops
Difficulty: 5 stars
Time Limit: C.Y. 3,000,000
Avatar Status: Lv. 6 HP1200
Cube Status: Size Small Temperature 29°C
Special Conditions: Cannot alter sea terrain (T0 or less).
Description: Birth Triceratops and capture it. Dimetrodon have already been birthed, so raising the temperature will lead to the Era of Dinosaurs. However, you cannot change the Cube's terrain, so it will be hard to raise the temperature. That's why usage of Global Warming is important here.
Challenge 06 - Birth of Stegosaurus
Difficulty: 6 stars
Time Limit: C.Y. 2,000,000
Avatar Status: Lv. 15 HP4500
Cube Status: Size Normal Temperature 40°C
Special Conditions: None.
Description: Birth Stegosaurus and capture it. Dinosaurs are multiplying, but Stegosaurus has not been born yet. Also, the temperature is falling so they may not be born at this rate. Keep an eye on the short time limit and adjust the temperature efficiently.
Challenge 07 - Birth of Brachiosaurus
Difficulty: 7 stars
Time Limit: C.Y. 2,000,000
Avatar Status: Lv. 10 HP2600
Cube Status: Size Normal Temperature 32°C (dropping to 29°C if not stabilized)
Special Conditions: Terrain T33 or above cannot be changed. (Navi also says during introduction, "You also cannot move the large, cross-shaped wall.")
Description: Birth Brachiosaurus and capture it. For this challenge, you cannot alter mountainous terrain (T33 or higher). Also, the time limit is short and your level is low...This challenge might be pretty tough.
Challenge 08 - Birth of Ingens
Difficulty: 8 stars
Time Limit: C.Y. 2,000,000
Avatar Status: Lv. 15 HP4500
Cube Status: Size Large Temperature 40°C
Special Conditions: Height-based temp. changes x3
Description: Birth Ingens and capture it. They're like Pteranodon, but they live in lands that are Upland or higher. It's hard enough to get elevated terrain to a minimum of 32°C, but the temperature changes in the Cube are also very extreme. This challenge is very hard.
Challenge 09 - Birth of Nessie
Difficulty: 9 stars
Time Limit: C.Y. 2,000,000
Avatar Status: Lv. 17 HP5500
Cube Status: Size Large Temperature 34°C
Special Conditions: No items allowed.
Description: Birth Nessie and capture it. The environment to birth Nessie is important, but humans need to exist too. If the Homo erectus in this Cube go extinct, completing this challenge is going to be tough. Create a generation change between Nessie and Plesiosaurus while establishing humans.
Challenge 10 - Birth of Tyrannosaurus rex
Difficulty: 9 stars
Time Limit: C.Y. 10,000,000
Avatar Status: Lv. 17 HP5500
Cube Status: Size Huge Temperature 37°C
Special Conditions: None.
Description: Birth Tyrannosaurus rex and capture it. There are no humans in the Cube. First, you should birth them, then birth the T. rex. You should already know what to do by now, so you probably don't need my advice.
